It has been a while since I’ve posted anything here on this blog, though there is a lot going on…
About a week before Christmas I was chatting with my wife about how strange it is to be in the midst of Advent and the Christmas season in shorts while the citrus trees bear fruit. Florida (where we’ve lived nearly four years at this time) still felt like a foreign land.
Since then I’ve been writing songs, lots of songs. Songs about faith, the church, hope, longing, peace, family, love, our place in this world, and an abiding longing for home.
Rather than posting musings and thoughts I’ve been laying down tracks, tightening up lyrics, asking questions, and starting the day by turning my old Fender on to let the tubes warm up.
Hopefully soon there will be something to share for your listening ears.
