Fear.
Right now we are less than 30 days away from the US Presidential Elections. One thing both major candidates, the media, and social networks are peddling in is FEAR.
Fear of him.
Fear of her.
Fear of them.
Fear of it.
Fear of…
The phrase “fear not” appears in the Bible over 365 times.
In fact, nearly every book of the Bible addresses fear.
But we continue to let fear be a major factor in our lives despite being commanded by Joshua 1:9 to be “strong and courageous.”
In these turbulent times let us find comfort in the words of Christ from John 14:27, “ 27Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I give to you not as the world gives. Don’t be troubled or afraid.”
My prayer is when you find yourself in that dark place, when fear is being thrown at you from all directions – you breathe in the peace and comfort bestowed upon us by Jesus Christ.
