This Psalm was part of an Election Day prayer service I was a part of yesterday.
It just jumped off the page at me.
The imagery of chariots and horses instantly came to mind – almost like a scene out of Ben-Hur – the old one with Charlton Heston.
During this time right after the most contentious election I’ve ever witnessed; when so much hope (or despair) is being placed in our elected official let us remember that our HOPE is in the Lord.
While others put their trust in the chariots and horses of today; let us put our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and give praise and thanks for His unending LOVE.
