Heaven Meets Earth

This morning there was a thick fog laying across the marsh behind our house.
As a kid I always thought of fog as a cloud laying on the earth.  The mist always seems a bit mysterious, what could lay within or beyond the fog?  And a feeling of uncertainty can emerge while peering into or traveling through the morning haze.
Sometimes life may feels like we are unable to see things clearly, especially during the busy and hectic holiday season.
But let’s remember what Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 13:12:
12 We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! (The Message)

During this Advent season know that when Christ was born the Light came down and Heaven met Earth.
