So I have found myself listening more and more to Gungor. One of the things I really like about them is the total conception of their music. Often artists (myself included) focus so much on the music everything else becomes secondary, music videos offering nothing but clips of “that’s cool” and “here’s the band.” But Gungor seems to offer often offer another level of expression within the visual realm. For instance the song, “God is not a White Man,” speaks a great message to the essence of God, what God truly is, and how God has been negatively used by people in different ways. But the music video displays this in a disarming, yet strong, manner. Have a look:
